Project Description

The 2025 Beloit Track & Field Improvements Project is a design-build athletic facility upgrade in Beloit, KS, for USD 273 that modernizes the Beloit High School sports complex with durable, performance-focused improvements. Schwab Eaton played a central role in shaping the project from the earliest planning and design phases through construction administration, helping guide the work into a cohesive and buildable solution.

Schwab Eaton provided the topographic survey and re-established the track geometry to ensure the improvements matched the site’s needs. The team also completed the grading and drainage design, prepared the NOI permit application, developed the construction documents, and supported construction administration.

The scope includes replacing the existing 8-lane running track with a post-tensioned concrete track installed over the current track surface. It also includes synthetic turf on the football field with new subdrainage facilities. The west D zone was improved for high jump, and the east-end D zone was converted to artificial turf. New goal posts and play clocks were also installed to enhance the football field’s functionality and overall athletic experience.
